How to Track Your Daewoo Smart Cargo Parcel
A simple, step-by-step guide to finding your booking number, entering it in the tracker and reading each update, from the coach leaving to the parcel arriving at the terminal.
How Daewoo Cargo Tracking Works
Daewoo Smart Cargo carries parcels between cities in the luggage holds of passenger coaches. Because parcels travel on normal bus trips between terminals, tracking shows a few main steps: booking at the first terminal, loading onto a coach, the trip on the motorway, and arrival in the cargo room at the destination terminal.
Follow the steps below to check your parcel and know when to go and collect it. Remember, you collect it yourself from the cargo counter at the destination bus terminal. It does not come to your home.
Find your booking receipt
When a parcel is booked at a Daewoo terminal cargo counter, the sender gets a printed cargo receipt. Look under or next to the barcode near the top or middle of the receipt. There you will find the booking number, often labelled “CN Number” or “Booking No”.
If you are the receiver, ask the sender for a clear photo of the receipt. Make sure every character is easy to read, so you do not have to guess.
Open the tracking site
Open your browser and go to Daewoo’s own tracking site at fastex.pk. Stay away from websites that ask you to sign up, ask for passwords or charge a fee to track.
Daewoo’s site has a simple box where you can type your booking number.
Type the number carefully
Type the booking number exactly as printed on the receipt. Make sure:
- There are no extra spaces at the start or end.
- You are not using the passenger bus ticket number by mistake.
- You only add symbols such as dashes if they are printed on the receipt.
Interpret the Milestone Progression
After you search, you will see the latest update for your parcel:
- Booked / Registered: Handed in at the first terminal and waiting for a coach.
- In Transit: Loaded onto a coach heading to the destination terminal.
- Arrived at Terminal: Unloaded into the cargo room at the destination and ready to collect.
- Delivered / Collected: The receiver has collected the parcel from the terminal desk.
Get ready to collect your parcel
When tracking shows the parcel has arrived at the destination terminal, go to the cargo counter. Take your original CNIC. The name on it must match the receiver’s name on the receipt. If the freight charge is marked “To Pay”, bring the exact cash so you can collect quickly. Collect within 5 days to avoid a daily late fee.
Common Tracking Problems and Fixes
If the search shows an error or nothing at all, check these common causes:
Record Synchronization Delay
If you search just after handing in the parcel at a busy counter, the booking may not have reached the system yet. Wait a little while and try again.
Using a bus ticket number
A passenger ticket has a different number from a cargo booking. Make sure you are reading from the cargo receipt, not a boarding pass.
Character Transposition
Check you have not mixed up “0” (zero) and “O” (the letter), or “1” and “I”. Compare what you typed with the text under the barcode.
Overdue Coach Arrival
If the coach leaves late because of fog or repairs, the arrival scan will only appear when the coach reaches the terminal. Call customer care on 042-111-007-009 for route updates.
Why there are no scans on the road
Some couriers scan parcels at several sorting centres on the way. Daewoo coaches go straight from one bus terminal to another, so there are no scans on the motorway.
If your parcel shows “In Transit” for several hours with no change, that is normal while the coach finishes its trip. The next update comes when staff unload the coach at the destination terminal.
